Plastic pins securing the LED board can degrade, allowing the energized LED board to come loose and contact the lens or combustible materials, posing a fire hazard.  As of July 3, 2024, the company has received no reports of Fire or injury in Canada. In the United States, the company has received 3 reports of Fire and no reports of injury.

The Halloween Witch Hat fails to meet recognized flammability standards, posing a risk of burn injuries. As of June 24, 2024, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada or the United States.

The recalled refrigerators can fail in a manner causing the compressor to overheat, posing a potential fire hazard. As of June 17, 2024, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada. 

The lithium-ion batteries used in the A1112011 Anker 321 Power Banks (PowerCore 5K, Black) may overheat due to a manufacturing defect, potentially causing melting of plastic components, smoke, and posing a potential fire hazard. As of June 14, 2024, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

The batteries used in the Soundcore A3102 Speaker (Black) and the AnkerWork A3302 PowerConf S3 Speakerphone could overheat, posing a potential fire hazard. As of June 17, 2024, the company has received no reports of injuries or incidents in Canada.

The plastic housing of the AC adapter can become detached when removing the adapter from the power outlet thereby exposing the power prongs and posing an electrical hazard.  As of July 3, 2024 the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.  In the United States, the company has received 19 reports of the AC adapter detaching and 2 reports of minor electrical shock. 

The recalled product does not meet the hazard labelling requirements of the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act. This product poses an aspiration hazard if inhaled or ingested. Aspiration into the lungs can occur when the product enters the lungs directly or is coughed up or vomited after being ingested. This coughing/vomiting could cause small particles of the product to travel into the lungs, or the product may be inhaled directly in the form of a fine mist. The lack of appropriate labelling information could result in unintentional exposure to the products and lead to serious illness or injury. As of June 25, 2024, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

Health Canada has determined that the use of these restraints in a motor vehicle could increase the risk of injury in the event of a collision. These products do not display Transport Canada's National Safety Mark and therefore have not been certified to meet the safety requirements of the Motor Vehicle Restraint Systems and Booster Seats Safety Regulations. The use of these restraints in a motor vehicle is illegal under provincial and territorial highway regulations.

Health Canada’s sampling and evaluation program has determined that these products do not meet the flammability requirements for children’s sleepwear of the Children’s Sleepwear Regulations. Loose-fitting children’s sleepwear can contact ignition sources such as stove elements, candles, and matches more readily than tight-fitting sleepwear, and once ignited will burn rapidly, potentially resulting in severe burns to large areas of the child’s body. As of June 19, 2024, the company has not received any reports of incidents or injuries in Canada. The products contain resins that, when uncured, can potentially cause skin, eye, and respiratory irritation or sensitization when inhaled, touched, or ingested by children or adults. After the resins cure, they no longer present this potential hazard. As of June 21, 2024, MGA is aware of 1 report of skin allergy in Canada. In the United States, the company has received 26 reports including 7 reports of skin irritation and one report of asthma.

The containers can separate from the blade base which can cause the blade to become exposed, posing a laceration hazard to consumers.  As of June 14, 2024, the company has received three reports of incidents involving injuries in Canada.
